I don't mind driving my car down to 2-5% battery. I know what I'm doing and pretty sure I can make it home (or to the next ionity).

My Taycan however keeps routing me to chargers I don't want to stop at, and to make thinks more enoying, when you pass one it keeps directing you back for a while... Is there a way to skip a charger?

Disable PIRM?
I don't have PIRM. This only happens if Im using my navigation.

So I don't want the Taycan to make alterations to my route. I think it should make suggestions and let me decide for myself.

I assume you enter chargers as (in between) destinations yourself?
Does the navigation recognizes the destination charger(s) you enter yourself as chargers, or are they simply (address) destinations?
If they are address destinations, the route planner can't take into account that you'll charge there and suggest extra stops at chargers to prevent you running out of juice.

Add a charger as a stopover and that should instruct the car to pre-condition the battery on arrival and do the calcs.

So for example I set my destination to my home address and I should arrive with 5% battery left, it tells me to charge along the way. Should I set my home address as a charger (I think that's possible)?

Also set my destination to an ionity (should arrive with 7% ) then it says added a charging stop in order for you to make it at your destination and routes me to a Fastned arround 15%. I've tried to cancel this, but can't find how to do so.

I get the same behavior and simply ignore it, I know I can make it home and charge there. I don't know if you can set your home address as a charger location, unless your charger is in the Porsche database ;-)

Did you select that ionity charger via the charging tab on the navigation screen ?

Add it as a stopover to trick it perhaps?

That is indeed the trick, I am just wondering if he added the Ionity via the charger tab in the navigation screen or as a normal address.

I will try to add it as a stopover next time.

I think I've added it by zooming in to the charger I wanted to stop at and pressing it on the screen, telling it to direct me to that location.

Yeh, I suspect that's an address destination. Try adding a stopover by using the charger tab of the navigation screen. You can search on that screen too, so enter the city and select the charger from the list that appears.

on the tesla nav system it will offer charging stops like the PIRM but it is easy to tell the system to skip that stop. Porsche should really take a closer look and try to emulate some of the tesla systems that are superior to what porsche has delivered.

You can disable charging stops in the navigation menu. This is not part of PIRM
I always thought that essentially was what PRIM is. PRIM is standard on Irish (maybe UK too?) base specs. What is it doing additionally?
