Hello all,
I'd like to share with you few pictures of the Spa Porsche days of last week-end. This is one of the largest Porsche event in the world. Nearly 4000 Porsches of all kinds are having a meeting on the Spa Francorchamps Formula One track every springs.
It all started with a trip from Paris to Belgium. At the Fastned charging station: surprise! A Lucid Air test car. Probably usual in the USA but freaking rare here in Europe.
With a bunch of friends, all Panamera owners, we rent a big house in the nearby of the track, which was a wise pick as it was located 8 mins from the track gate, allowing us to skip most of the line wait by a small road.
I used the Porsche mobile charge to top up to 100% overnight.
On Saturday morning, we had the possibility to drive on the track in a "Family run" 3 laps discovery. This was a great opportunity for us. Nothing about speed but more about fun, enjoying the moment on this legendary track.
Stickers allowing us to dive on the track:
Security briefing
Reserved parking lot
Queuing at the "eau rouge" entry point:
Wife enjoying the "raidillon" ?
We spent the full week-end in Spa, enjoying every moment of it. Besides the "Family run/ discovery tour", there were 3 races series (rookies/confirmed and pro) where GT3, GT4 RS, GT3 RS, GT3 Cup and RSR were the Prom queens of the day.
The 911 Turbo has been honored:
The refreshed Taycan was here:
We were lucky with the weather. This is not frequent in this place, famous for its rain.
The new Taycan and a Porsche 356 jewel: Past&present contrast.
Cars are coming from all Europe:
There is no placement. Car are piling up as they arrive: first arrived, first parked. Great is all cars are mixed up. No "GT3 corner" if you see what I mean. All cars are welcome, old and news, no discrimination. Only passion.?
There is refueling station on the track... but unfortunaly no charging station.
There was a bunch of Taycan. Not tons of them but... I would say 20/30... among 4000 others! The Taycan remains a curiosity with lots of people asking me about.
The Sunday parade around the track is a unique opportunity to shoot photos:
Then it was time to go back to Paris with a lot of moments to remember.
See the rear spoiler is up! ?
