Sport Chrono + Steering Wheel options

The configurator is vague about the Sport Chrono in conjuntion with various steering wheel options. You get the GT wheel included in the Sport Chrono, but is it leather and heated? The various wheel options that are present seem to be for if you want RaceTex and/or Carbon Fiber. I'm pretty sure it's saying that without Sport Chrono, you've got to select one of these to get a heated wheel. But if you selected Sport Chrono, do you get a heated wheel included or still have to pick a wheel option?

Leather wheel is standard.

Wheel heating is region dependent and not heated e.g. for UK market as standard but is an optional extra.

Review the standard spec sheet for US and if heated it will be listed there and not on the configuration options.

Chances are that it is heated as standard for US.

Note that heating is independent of Sports Chrono.

I have noticed some oddities with
Steering Wheel selection on UK configurator.

I like Race Tex and a Race Tex Steering Wheel. I have a GTS saloon with that.

I want a CT4S (so more space for 6 foot+ sons) with Race Tex. Particularly the Steering Wheel.
On configurator I am EXTREMELY reluctant to pay £2792 for the Vegan interior made out of recycled old fishing nets.
I cannot believe the costs are the same as a full dead cow interior.
It should be a no cost option from partial leather.

So…. without the Vegan interior to get a Race Tex wheel you need to specify Sports Chrono because Race Tex is only available in combination with GT wheel.
I don’t want Sports Chrono simply because the clock looks SHIT. I have to put up with it in my GTS.

They obviously make a ‘standard’ Race Tex steering wheel for the Vegan interior without Sports Chrono but you can’t spec it separately. Odd and frustrating.

Steering wheel heating is available as an extra on all steering wheels on base and 4S Taycans in UK.
