i have seen many discussion around wheels ... I am going to receive the stock 19 on rwd
I did not find them attractive - they could have sort out smtg much nicer (with same aero properties)

I did not spec another 19 (the upgraded ver 19 are as bad as the stock) , 20 or 21
First - I do like 55 front and 45 at the back (large enough to be safe half of the time close to a side walk or parking exit corridor)
Second - I know I am going to hurt them very quickly anyway

Unfortunately where I live - no specialized shop to take good & fast repair touch / nor insurance as in US I believe

The very basic workshop (not the best one for sure) take 300€ / wheel at least to "repaint"

I do not find any good looking in 19 (not looking @ chinese copies - & prefer not to) The very best I can find are italians ...but 21 ! which lead me to change what I love the 45 at the back !!!

I am thinking on "hiding" (black out) them at an extend but the curbs marks will be so obvious ... !

Any good advice or maybe model / manufacturer ?

PS : I do need to keep my center caps as stock size as well as I have made special order for: floating/coloured on black/led lightning center caps...

I agree about the 19 inch wheels, so I chose to go with the 20 inchers instead. Not perfect, but remember this is a Porsche, and the choices are all designed to make you want to upgrade. As to aftermarket wheels, just get what you like, not what someone else likes.

Someone on this forum had the same wheels last you in 19 but only had them partially painted in black. IMHO, they looked awesome with that two-tone paint but unfortunately cannot find the photo again.

Yep it was me, it took about 1.5h per wheel to prepare (sanding, mask foil them and cut out the parts that need to be sprayed). The paint that is used is 2k Porsche black that is also used on the old Fuchs wheels.

Your thread reminds me that I have a set of Signature 19" wheels just sitting in my garage that I bought as a second set for my prior M4 that I should prob sell on in case anyone here interested - they are still clad in Bridgestone Potenza tires and are 305/30 R19 rear and 265/35 R19 front.

Example attached in silver but mine are gloss black :) - almost unused as had a set of deep concave RS41's on the M4 I just liked too much! Can't be more than a hundred miles at most on the Signature's.

I'll get proper pics up if I do go ahead and decide to sell as TBH thinking might still be useful to have as a backup to the Taycan!

Believe there is a forum sponsor (Terence .....?) promoting Signature wheels on the Forum who likely has more pics of their styles.

Again these first two pics of a silver set my orig seller shared - mine in next pics are gloss black

These really are rather crappy pics - mounted on the M4:

I ended up going with the chinese 19" mission e wheels and am very happy with them. I was considering Vossen HF-5s and got a quote from them for I believe $3,000 to have them built to fit the OEM 19" tire size.

- New rims: 6k to 10k from the dealer.
- aftermarket rims from another company: forbidden in Switzerland without a certificate of conformity by Porsche.
- paint by a pro: about 1k.

Humm, let's a DIY paint job first to see if the result will be worth it?

Someone had zero patience... Someone already went to the local home Depot equivalent store...

The result is not perfect, still it looks much better. And can be improved (this is Plastidip, it can be removed or added where needed).

Or if the paint gets damaged, I'll get a pro do it better, now that I know how it looks.
