Sunglass storage solution!

To replace the hand holder over the driver seat by sunglass storage box. See pics. I am in china, the box cost 20$. The material is perfect match to porsche’s alcantara. Just did this by myself and it cost me 10 mins. Very easy.

I think it exactly same idea and product, difference might be on the compatibility to taycan and material. It perfectly matching my alcantara interior, so it feels more like an “original” component. It is much easier now to have the glass put there.

I noticed that they claimed compatibility with Macan and Panamera. Which one did you get?

Yes, The box is the same as the box used on cayenne, so you can just try to buy cayenne box to install on your taycan, I believe there should be quite many kinds available.

UPDATE (to my post below): I found this item on eBay and decided to give it a shot. Seems like the same or very similar to what @xqdong got. I'll report back when it arrives!

Anybody have a link for this? @Tomato's post in this thread was super informative and had an Amazon link, but I'd love to get the one that @xqdong posted about here, since it would perfectly match the Race-Tex headliner of my GTS... I tried scanning the QR code from Taobao in the image above but my iPhone isn't recognizing it... (and Taobao might not work for me in the US anyway)

Hi, I uninstalled it and install the original handler back. The glassbox is not in very good quality, the glue will melt in summer time. So I decided just uninstalled it.
