Taycan 4 CT production withdrawal

Hello,

I’m new to this forum.
Ordered a Taycan 4 CT in january. Delivery was supposed to be in may. In april I was notified of delays of at least a month due to shortage of components of the PDLS option I ordered. Last week called my dealer and he informed me the car was in pre production, all components were gathered for production, and my dealer expected the car 2,5 weeks later in the Netherlands, so half june.
Yesterday my dealer called me and informed me that my car was withdrawn from production. No reason was given but he thought the reason was shortage of PDLS and head up display components. He also told me skipping these options wouldnt affect my build because all CT’s were withdrawn from production and new production date would be around end of july.
Has anybody here had the same information?

I ordered a CT end November, PDLS is also one of the options.
Normal production was mid April, latest end July. No news at all regarding productiontime, my dealer ask me to wait for a message from Porsche. So we wait, wait and wait...

So I dont have to ask for which colour you opted?
What strikes me the most is the non existing communication from Porsche regarding this subject. Even the dealer is guessing for the reason.
anyway in the mean time I almost dont have any options left To choose from. Very anxious for the end result…

Did you order matrix or PDLS Plus? I also ordered matrix but those were cancelled and I now have PDLS plus. Car delivered end of April. Ordered in December. Delayed several times. I also have HUD.

I am happy with PDLS plus. But haven’t done many drives at night. HUD is nice to have but the design of the dashboard makes it less essetial as kn an SUV like the X5 I had before. If it makes a difference between having the car soon or waiting for 6 months I would consider ordering without matrix and HUD.

A friend who also happens to be live Brabant ordered a GTS in December. Supposed to be delivered in February. Delayed and now should finalize production beginning of June. They assured him it would because he had a production date. I hope it will still go through.

ordered matrix. And as mentioned before my dealer Saïd that skipping the options wouldnt speed up the build.

yes I was lucky to get a production slot of someone who cancelled his order. Had to be a CT 4. 4S would have taken longer and 20k more. But I am happy with my 4.

I have quite some options.

That is a Nice line up. Mine almost the same. Went for the more adjustable Seats so massage was not an option. Didnt take the 22kw charger since this is not an option at my house.
although not economical went for the 21 rims.

The 14w seats are a bit more comfortable. I initially preferred the look of the 18w seats. IRL you sit in the seats and you don’t look at them. Happy with my choice. Could live without massage but it is nice to have.
I have 3 fase at home. For now my charge is at 10 amp (can go up to 32) and this is more than enough. I think I will only need the 22 kw charger during family trips to my family in Holland. In Utrecht / Amersfoort lots of 22 kw chargers that can give me enough charge to return home. But I don’t think you will miss it.
I actually prefer the looks of 20 inch wheel but I can also understand why you like the 21 inch.
