Just purchased a CPO 2020 Taycan. Car did not come with the sports chrono package but was a great deal so pulled the trigger. Did anyone have success in getting the steering wheel and sub-second clock retrofitted from the dealer? If not, is there an after market option to just install the clock on the dash with a quartz /battery-powered clock - Do not want to risk playing with electricals and voiding the warranty but like the convenience/look of an analog clock. I do know the instrument cluster shows the time but its blocked by the steering.

Retrofitting these will completely wipe out the saving you got buying CPO...

Also played with the idea to retrofit the clock, but after having the car for 2 months I no longer feel the need to have one. (and I actually prefer not having the reflection in my windshield)
You can easily swap the dashboard piece with one that has room for a clock (9J1858189C), those OEM clocks are pretty expensive, better get something cheaper that has the same diameter.

The standard steering wheel is a bit of a let down compared to the one from the sport chrono package, but got used to it by now.

Is there a cable to power the clock or do I have to run the wiring?

I’m looking at a 2020 turbo with an insane MSRP of $197,000 US but for whatever reason the buyer did not have sports chrono for me its not a big deal in the least with all other options considered
