Taycan in Monte Carlo

Hi, I want to share with you guys my experience in Montecarlo, exactly outside the luxurious Montecarlo Casino when you can see all the luxury's cars you can imagine. Well, I saw cars as Lambo, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley, Porsche 911 and others as you can imagine. BUT!! I saw 2 or 3 Taycan's, let me tell you one thing, even a lot of supercars there, the Taycan presence can't be ignore, really can't.
Taycan is a beautiful car, an sports car with very good performance and handling. I drive everyday a Taycan 4S PB and I was surprise how beautiful is this car when I saw in Montecarlo in front expensive supercars. I am not saying that the Taycan is the best looking car or the best performance, but as I ask my son, what 4 doors car have the combination of handling, looks, performance, luxury as the Porsche Taycan?
For me me even the Taycan was an ICE or EV I would have bought it any day.

Monte Carlo makes me laugh.

I went there every year for over 30 years working at the Grand Prix and I was always amazed about people driving around in cars totally unsuited to a crowded town.
A Rolls Royce convertible I can understand or a Taycan but not so many others.

Mind you parts of London are the same.

It's on my list to drive UK to Monte Carlo in the Taycan but got to convince the boss and our 8yr old that the long drive is worth it first

It was a nightmare to work at in the early days and even with the current updates a bit cr*p.

I have only been race weekends which are bedlam but my old boss Tony Rudd used to go for the weekend regularly and said it was fantastic and fairly quiet at other times.

Well that really depends on what he classifies as “fairly quiet”. Maybe some days in darkest winter? Summertime it is heaving, but well worth a visit.

I think the Taycans looks very much depend on the angle.

When I walk up to mine from a full on side profile, it's not that attractive.
I assume the aerodynamics dictate the shape and it can look a bit 'blobby' and cumbersome from side on.

But as you move toward the front or rear, you start to see all the curves, bulges and hips and suddenly you see its 911 heritage.
It then looks fantastic.

Am currently in the Balearics and saw a Carrara White one here for the first time - looks fantastic under the Mediterranean sun.

Would agree that it looks best from the front and second from the rear, in particular while in motion.

I then moved on to getting frustrated about driving around the island in a slow rental instead of my 4S

in actual fact she works for me in my business (tho I’m not her line manager fortunately)
