I purchased a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo in March 2022 and received the car in October 2023, I understood and accepted the delay. On June 22nd I took the car to the dealer for various recalls and a fault with the suspension system. Later the following day I was informed that the diagnostic show the problem is with the control unit for the air suspension system, the parts have been ordered and would take approximately two weeks. I was provided a loaner car an ICE Macan GTS.
On June 22nd I was contacted by the dealer and informed that the control unit arrived and was installed, however did not resolve the issue, “they were in contact with Germany and would keep me posted sometime next week when they receive feed back” I contacted the dealer on June 28th and was informed that the problem appears to be with the right rear suspension strut and the part has been ordered from Germany and would take approximately two weeks. it has been six weeks to date and I have no further news and still driving my ICE car.
Has anyone had similar issues and when and how was it resolved, should I be seeking compensation and to what level, I only have 6000km on the car and enjoyed the car when driving it.

This forum is full of posts of owners having long wait times to have Taycans repaired. Waits can be due to waiting for technical guidance responses from Germany, parts delivery times, shortage of Taycan repair techs at dealers resulting in delays getting service appointments, and in the case of high-voltage battery repairs/replacements, waiting for a regional Taycan battery specialist to visit the dealership for the repair. People here have reported waiting 3 to 4 months for HV battery diagnosis and repair/replacement and as long as 6 weeks to have a cabin heater replaced.

2022 taycan CT—-going on three weeks at the dealer for new door handles bc my alarm wouldn’t shut off till I unplugged the battery. Apparently, the door handles are all bad and the first set they received weren’t the updated ones. They haven’t even given me a timeframe for when the new ones will arrive. All I know is that once the newest door handles come then they need to paint them and install. Hopefully that solves my alarm issue. I have a base Macan to drive but it’s not as bad as when I had a Mercedes and they sent me to enterprise rentals for a Spark. I’m just bummed bc my husbands Lightning had to be towed to ford yesterday for a fault after an update. We literally just doubled our solar system for having two evs and are stuck with two ice cars 🤣
Porsche always keeps my car for 1-2 weeks for everything, and twice it’s been longer than 2 weeks. I just accept that now. Compensation isn’t something I would seek, I’m just happy to have a loaner that isn’t a clown car.
