It seems that the demo Taycan Turbo the journalists were driving has the 396mm+ carbon ceramic brakes. While fantastic for a racetrack, on the street an EV never even heats the brakes. Regeneration provides -0.2G of throttle lift stopping in regular mode, and -0.3G in sport mode.
Does the forum hive mind think the the Porsche Surface Coated Brakes, now used in Cayenne Turbo and Macan Turbo, will make an appearance on the Taycan? That would be a great option for a heavy car. 390mm front.
