Thames Highway arrives in Grimsby

The Thames Highway arrived from Emden today at around 7:00 p.m. I’m guessing it’s carrying some Taycans. I’m hoping mine’s amongst them.

They get three boats a weeks from Emden, as does Sheerness.

Have you got any indication it’s been loaded on a particular vessel? If so how - I’m all ears ?

I spoke with my dealer this morning. They say that according to their system the car’s still in Germany so I doubt it’s aboard, although the dealer did mention that the system might not have been updated.

They have had cars turn up unexpectedly so, it can happen, but I think I’m clutching at straws. The system still says that the car’s expected at the dealership 11/11, so it definitely hasn’t been updated; I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Long winded way of saying that I have no way of telling if my particular car is on a particular vessel short of travelling to Emden and eyeballing it and I’m not that desperate - yet!

12 months just passed on a Turbo saloon

Sounds great. I’m waiting on an ST Turbo. I wanted a saloon but just couldn’t see it working with my golf habit. The saloon is such a great looking car; amazing styling for a 4-door.

I’m sure it’ll be worth the wait.

I have my driving experience at Silverstone this week and that will be in a saloon, as even the experience guys are still waiting for an ST.
