While the top speed of wipers on my Taycan leaves me wanting more (evidently Porsche doesn't just detune their drive motors, wiper motors too
) I have recently discovered something new though. Did you know that if you put the wiper speed stalk to the top position, the speed of the wipers does not stay constant? It seems to be speed related, with wipers going noticeably slower when the car stops, then ramp up as the car starts driving. I found it useful. I used to switch the wiper speeds manually (rain sensor sometimes does not perform great in PWN mist), so never noticed until last night when I was slow on pushing the wiper speed down when stopped at the lights. I am still not sure if it's 100% speed dependent, or does the rain sensor also come into play (say you're at the light but there is a massive downpour).
Since on the topic, has anyone discovered any PIWIS coding parameters out there which can up, or remove, the wiper motor speed limiter?
