Has anyone had trouble using the locking feature that turns off the alarm feature if you leave a pet or person in the car and lock the car? I have never had any luck doing this. According to the manual all you have to do is press the lock button twice quickly. I've done this a dozen times with no luck. Any idea what I'm missing?

When you turn off the car, a pop-up comes on screen and asks you if you want to turn off interior monitoring - aka for pets

That being said, this is no Tesla, there is no pet mode. You should not leave your pet inside the car

Thanks for the information. I do not get this pop up when I turn off my car. It'n not mentioned anywhere in the manual either.

No one treats their dog any better than I do. I don't need you to tell me how to treat her. I only leave her alone in the car for 1-2 minutes while I quickly run into a store and I only do it when the weather is fine and not too hot in the car.

You can tap the precool/heat button in the lower screen to keep the climate control active for up to 1 hour to keep your pet/passenger cool/warm.

It should show on the screen, after you turn off the car ... just do not open the door until you see the message.

Thank you sir. I will try again to see this screen. As for my dog, great suggestion but I would never leave her in a car where I was worried about the temperature being too hot or cold. Never!! Plus I'm never gone for more than a minute or two and I usually crack the windows.

OK, I've found my problem. I went into setting and saw that I didn't have the check box ticked for this pop up message. Once selected, I saw the message to turn on/off interior monitoring when I shut the car down. Thanks everyone for all your help!
