WPN9 Workshop Campaign - Reprogramming central computer (PCM)
ID Number WPN9
Models Taycan
Model Years 2020 - 2024

Number of VINs affected 28,428
Issue Description Optimized software is available for the central computer (PCM) control unit and Connect control unit. The software for the central computer (PCM) control unit must therefore be updated on the affected vehicles.
What should Porsche Centers do? Please arrange for this measure to be carried out as soon as possible on affected vehicles. As of the time of this posting (11/3/23) the remedy is now available.

* The PCM control unit software update is performed using a USB storage medium. The software release
that is specific to each region must be downloaded using the software tool PiUS (Porsche integrated Update
Service) and must be installed on a blank USB storage medium.

For many, this was an OTA update.
Note that the preceding TSB updated PCM to version 3882. The following 2 TSBs update PCM to version 3885.

The TSBs for this WPN9 campaign to reprogram PCM dated in August and September 2025 (see post #1) update the PCM version to 3885. The original 2023 TSB updated the PCM version to 3882.
