Tuxmat trunk / frunk 3-piece set -- first look pics

For those curious about how these look in a Taycan and what the 3-piece set includes, a rep from tuxmat emailed me these pics showing all three pieces of their tuxmat 3-piece trunk set.

I was going to get Weathertech like I've always done for past cars but I saw a thread here earlier about tuxmat floor mats so I looked into them. Not only are they cheaper than weathertech, I think they look nicer and come with the 3rd piece for the extra compartment below the main rear trunk space. I think I'll go with tuxmat for a change. Will report back here after I get them and put them to use.

My car already came with factory rubber floor mats for the passenger cabin even though I didn't order them, but I still also ordered a set of tuxmats for the passenger areas to complete the set. I like how they cover all the carpeted pieces especially in the rear where my kids will totally make a mess of things with their winter boots when it snows.

I'm trying to pick which trunk and frunk liner to go with. Thinking for the floor mats I might do OEM to match color of my interior

I purchased the Tuxmat 3-piece trunk set based on user reviews and photos from another forum I was part of. While I love the overall design and thickness, the front trunk mat does not fit properly. I tried turning it around and it made no difference.

I'm attaching photos from my actual vehicle as reference. I will say that the lower rear mat is a 100% perfect fit. The large rear mat fits perfectly other than blocking access to all four tie-downs in the rear.

I see that Tuxmat offers hook and loop fasteners for some of their floor mats and I plan to reach out to customer service to check on that option or see if they can address the front trunk fit. I hope they can address the front, because the price was very good and most companies don't appear to offer the lower rear mat.

I figured I'd do a quick update on this. I contacted Tuxmat and they sent me eight Velcro clips to help secure the mat for the front storage area. The fit is far better now, but still not what I was hoping. The photos above show a very noticeable seam on the front of the mat as well, along the border.

All in all I'm satisfied with my purchase, especially for the price, but I continue to wonder if my front mat was an irregular.

I put these in the car for the floor mats and I like them. Finally enough protection from the little feet.
I used a different brand for the trunk. I don't need military grade coverage back there.
