Hi.
My Taycan showed an "Electrical system fault" error and has been at an official Porsche dealer for almost a month now.
Official Service claims they are still waiting for Porsche's approval to replace the battery.
The car has a valid warranty.
Is there a maximum period when Porsche must return my car or provide a new one?

Hello, fellow Slovenian :)
I’m sorry that you are having problems with your car.
According to our customer protection law, they have to fix it in 45 days, otherwise you can either:
1. demand your money back (full refund)
2. demand new car
3. Agreed on anything else that they propose.

Note: you have to send your decision by a written statement.

Uh oh, mine showed this error tonight when I went to go pick up my kids from school. Getting them to tow it to the dealer tomorrow morning (assuming they can work out how to get it out of my garage). Hopefully not going to take weeks to get it back.

Good luck. Once the part arrived to the dealer it only took three days to replace and hand me the car.

The fuse module that blew for our 2021 CT4 is no longer manufactured so Porsche corporate had to test the newer part to ensure it worked before sending to dealer to have them install. When reinstalling the module the heater blew, but fortunately the service dept had one on hand - I was told it would have been an additional two month wait if they didn’t already have one since it’s a built to order part.

Paying for gas in the two base macan and one cayenne loaners during those ten weeks was over $1k more than equivalent electricity costs. Trying to get compensation for that and more costs from Porsche now…

Hope your resolution is quicker and easier.

Hi Everyone!
After over a month of repairs, I finally got my car back! There was a replacement of the whole battery, which by the way costs 52 thousand euros. The service manager told me that in the future Porsche will not change the battery completely, but only repair the cells, even if the car is under warranty, which I find strange.
