Me too. Oddly it never bothered me when I had my C2S (991.2) where the two fobs remained in the glovebox at all times. It was possibly due to a subconscious desire to have the car stolen as I didn't like it much (although I appreciate I may have had a fight with the ins co).I keep mine in my 'man bag' () and I keep my keys in a jacket pocket... I just don't want to give the insurance company any excuses to wriggle out of payment in the event of theft.
I'd be more interested to find out where others keep their second fob, and how, if appropriate, they train their partner to use it. I used to keep my spare with the spare key until my wife asked what the fob was. It was only when I was explaining it to her that I realised what a tit I was!
