Where do you keep your tracker fob?

I keep mine in my 'man bag' ( ) and I keep my keys in a jacket pocket... I just don't want to give the insurance company any excuses to wriggle out of payment in the event of theft.

Me too. Oddly it never bothered me when I had my C2S (991.2) where the two fobs remained in the glovebox at all times. It was possibly due to a subconscious desire to have the car stolen as I didn't like it much (although I appreciate I may have had a fight with the ins co).

I'd be more interested to find out where others keep their second fob, and how, if appropriate, they train their partner to use it. I used to keep my spare with the spare key until my wife asked what the fob was. It was only when I was explaining it to her that I realised what a tit I was!

The tracker fob is much bigger than the one I had on my 911. Where does everyone keep theirs? I am asking Porsche if you can get a smaller fob that I can keep on my key ring although this is probably exactly what they don’t want you to do

Humm. Have had the car 2 days and I’ve lost a tracker fob already. Bugger.
im suspicious though as if I lost it when I was out - how did I get home without an alert?!
Possibly lost it in the car, which would be interesting, permanently defeat PVTS! Maybe I should drive round the block without the other fob and see what happens!

For anyone looking for a way to attach the ugly fob to a key ring or hook (not to the car key obviously), here is a good cheap solution i got from someone else on here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0711XQ4D

It is 1/15th of the price of the coupland leather one (but cheap material and with a stupid logo).

I need to find a way to attach an Apple airtag to it as that will be the best reminder for me....but would rather not increase the bulk further with some of the cases seen people use.

I have one of these attached to the FOB. Bulk isn't too bad.

If it's in the car it will deactivate PVTS+

Don't use the other fob to determine if the fob is in the car (leave at home). If this doesn't trigger an alert then the fob must be in the car or your service is not active.

I found it! It was in my office chair. After hunting in the car for half an hour the dash popped up ‘driver card not found’, which it could have told me earlier
