The air pump is handy.Yes but I have yet once had a sealant repair kit do anything except spill out of the rupture from the tire and onto the road....
Absolutely but I have yet to find this to be the case with low profile/performance tires, because either its a slow leak, where I get a TPMS warning and fill up until I can patch, or it leads to a pretty rapid and catastrophic tear in the sidewall before I can pull over and stop.The air pump is handy.
And if it were a simple nail puncture, in the tread of the tire, then the sealant would help. But it can’t fix major damage, or sidewall damage.
