Had my 4S around 2 months now and learned a new feature today quite by accident. Double pressing the brake pedal while stationary in drive applies the "Hold" feature, allowing you can take your foot off the brake pedal while waiting for the lights to change. Really useful feature!

Anyone else found any cool or useful features to share?

I don’t think that’s special for the Taycan, but it is a nice feature.

Yeah, think fairly standard on lots of autos now, although I only found it by accident on my previous c63 amg and I was pleased when I found it. Don’t tend to use it alot for some reason.

All Porsches (and other marques) have the hold function which has improved over the years. Can be a curse too in certain scenarios.

Automatically deploys depending on elevation (or when rolling backwards has been detected) and can be deployed by pressing and holding the brake pedal momentarily (it also keeps the brake light lit).

Another useful one is to park the window wipers in an upright position so the you can lift them off the screen to either clean or replace the blades. To activate power off the car and then press the wiper stalk down once. Again not unique to the Taycan or indeed other marques.

I think the trick Porsche missed is not having paddles on the steering wheel for certain functions... Not to shift but to turn on regen or change to sport mode, etc. Faster than the push of a programmable button that you do have to look down for.

Took me a while to find that as the hold function sometimes only seems to work if you lift off the pedal and press again. Had been expecting the function but the first couple of times I tried it didn’t work.

There have been a few occasions where I've pressed the pedal much harder and further than usually needed, basically can't/don't want to push any harder and it still doesn't hold. It's only happened a handful of times but I find it strange that it doesn't just work the same every time.

I’ve had that issue in my Macan, so I don’t think it’s just you. I have to let off the pedal and press again as you stated earlier.

Excellent tip with the wipers. I had wondered how I would change the blades when the time comes.

I think it depends on how hard you were breaking before the car comes to a stop.

If I let the car roll to the light and use only little regen breaking, when the car stops, I just push the break a bit harder and have it in hold.
