Hello Taycan forum!
Finally picked up the frozen blue 4S for my wife last week. Overall, pretty happy wife and pretty happy life!

Just some quick questions before I can get a very happy wife and very happy life....

1. Is there anyway we can keep the exterior door handle in "up" position when doors remain unlock? I don't want to carry the key fob all the time just trying to get something from the car (I also don't want to turn on comfort access to drain key fob battery)
2. How in the world the car will lock itself with key fob inside the car? Any secret to make it "not to"?
3. For the complementary 30min charge, is it once a day?

Couple comments so far:

1. Only has been charged at EA station once, to my surprise, no error, no issue, no beeping, no explosion... Straight plug and charge. And to my second surprise, when the EA charge station lowered the charging power (from 150kwh to 80kwh) for "system maintenance " it actually allowed me to charge for more then 40 min without paying for it.
2. Why! Why! Why! They put the Goodyear F1 tire on the upgraded Mission E Design wheels!? I know its the cheapest 21" wheel but come on! It really degraded the ride, noise and poise of Taycan. We had the same setup Taycan as loaner (which eventually lead to the purchase of wife's car) it had Pirelli on it, it's firm and tight, but did not show the lousy characteristic of the tire as Goodyear.....

When I walk away from the car and the handles go back in the car is NOT locked unless I actually push the comfort access button on the handle or use the key fob to lock. You can tell when the folding mirrors (which I believe is an option) do not fold in. That’s how I know it’s still unlocked. This is how I leave the car in my garage. Walk away and don’t lock anything. Handles retract but mirrors stay out. If you pull on the handle while it is flush, even without the key fob, it will open the door in this state.

Ok, alien abduction just happened when I did my 2nd charge. Since my solar has not approved from city and NEMA hasn’t been installed yet, I need to drag my semi happiness axx out of my warm recliner and go to the SAME EA charging station. That’s when the alien abduction happened. Same charging stall, same plug, errrrror, re-plug, once, twice, trice… nope nope and nope. Tried another plug, still nope. The Mustang Mach-E parked next stall was looking at this poor guy walking around his $140K Porsche trying to get charge…. Story of the day! lol

Gracias amigo! I was afraid to break the handle while it was in the retract position~

Regarding the 30 minute charging - you can do multiple times a day, you just have to wait an hour before each one (never actually tried that, but that's what they say).

But you know what the weird thing is? Both my first time and today’s charging went over 30 min, never got charged tho….. Hope I don’t jinx it~
