The ship arrived Benicia 12/19. Porsche TYD says “port processing” has been completed, but is predicting delivery to my dealer in Walnut Creek (10 miles from the port) on 1/7. Dealer says he has no idea, but 1/7 sounds like a worst case scenario.

Has anyone whose car was on the RCC Classic taken delivery of their car yet? My car seems to be stuck in Benicia with an estimated arrival at PECLA of January 7th.

did you ask if there are any stop sales or recalls associated with your VIN? My SA called me to say that he had received an exit notification and the next day called to say he had the car. My dealer is further from Benicia than yours.

Picked up my car today. Honestly my SA is pretty sharp. The process was done in 2 hours. He had me pre complete some things like ID and insurance. The car would not login initially but the SOS light was green. So he had me complete payment while he figured out the problem with their Taycan tech. When I came back, they had me change my account online to ask for a PIN number. That did the trick and I was able to login and then disable the PIN. He setup wireless CarPlay, showed me wireless charging which worked and setup EA charging service. I enjoyed the car for all of 15 miles driving to my PPF & tint guy who says he needs about 10-11 days due to the rain plus Christmas & NY. So far, so good!

How many days did it take from the time the Boat arrived until your Dealer received it? Car looks great!

Thanks! Boat arrived on the 18/19th. Car was with dealer on 21st afternoon and I picked up today at 9am.

Sounds like you had a frequently occurring EA charging issue?...... depending on your state of charge I would guess you should typically get between 30-50% increase in charge in 17 mins. if it was a 350W charger........
