BTW the instructions form 8936 say:

"The IRS will not attempt to collect any understatement of tax liability attributable to reliance on the certification as long as you acquired the vehicle on or before the date the IRS published the withdrawal announcement."

which makes it sound like even if congress back dates the infrastructure bill we will still be able to get our rebate next year.

Yup, I haven't heard from my SA either. Earlier today when I talked with him he said he was told it probably would not come today.

Well, Hennessy is closed until Monday so Monday it is. It would be nice if our cars were there too. I dropped off my side blinkers and Porsche license plate frame. SA says they will install all for free.
