Seems such a shame to spoil her rear! Thankfully Ohio scrapped the front plate. Unloaded today at dealership; they do PDI Monday and then it’s going to be carted of to PPF on Thursday.

oh, and clear side markers are ready to switch in as well!

Sorry, didn't realized it's not public. I got an email from them.

use code "REVIVER" at checkout.

Should reduce cost to $199.

That looks like Porsche North Olmsted ?. So far I’ve only seen one Taycan (a CT) in the area. Congratulations on the car, it’s beautiful, and I hope you enjoy!

Thank you!

Yes, that is North Olmsted; I’m in the North Canton area and also have only seen one in the wild also.

there was a CT,a base Taycan and my car dropped at the dealership yesterday.

Why can't the US learn from Europeans? The Europeans have much better license plates -- narrower, no absurd images and colors -- just the license number and a simple indication of which country the car is from. Very uniform. Should be the same in the US: uniform plates with just plate numbers and the state listed. Many of the US plates are so cluttered with colors and images that the plate numbers are near-impossible to see -- let alone which state they are from. And then there are the absurd plate frames that cover up state names and which should be banned.

But I don’t miss the UK speed cameras; especially the average speed camera setup! I feel like the US system is far more sporting in that area.

US has speed cameras too, perhaps not in the area where you drive. I came across some during a cross country trip across the USA. Luckily my radar detector has a GPS based speed camera warning, so it warned me - at least they were fixed location, not like Canada which has in the past had mobile speed cameras mounted on vans parked by the side of a highway (funny story, I remember a guy who got 3 speeding tickets in a span of few seconds, 3 such vans, from different county police departments, all parked within few meters of each other under a bridge). I have yet come across average speed tickets, but that is probably because the US speed limits are often unrealistic and intended to drive a speeding ticket revenue stream. While they could easily setup average speed ticketing based on toll scans for example , that would kill their speeding ticket revenue stream (no way to beat it, nobody would speed anymore, no speeding ticket revenue).

Because if USA went with functional license plates, the governments would have to fire some employees whose only job is to come up with useless stuff like this. Notice the announcement of the Ohio plate as an "inclusivity" plate, who cares, it's a freakin identification for a car! I heard another one from my wife recently, when she went to renew one of her professional certifications - the "knowledge test" at the end of the course was officially renamed to "celebration of knowledge", I kid you not. There was probably a whole committee who worked on that one, funded by taxpayers of course.

PS> I'm fine if the government wants to allow fancy art plates, but they should be a paid option and people who design them, make them, and sell them, should not be funded by the taxpayers (allow independent companies to make fancy license plates, and make money on the sales). The basic plate from the government should be functional, nothing fancy.

Just ordered a second license plate from Reviver at the discounted rate, this one for the Defender.

Really need to stop reading this site, it's just causing an exponential increase in my spending. :CWL:
