PAINTED ARCHES - AT LAST
Just back from the custom shop with painted arches and STEK on front windshield - really beautiful job by my local shop - top quality - looks bloody amazing up close!
Few quick and dirty shots with phone on arrival home - lousy light day today (some blue skies appearing behind so will be better later), so these not the best but you can at least see the 'baby-butt' smooth finish in close-up and excellent color match.
Total cost for arches conversion was $1K even - this compared to just adding the ORDP at almost $1800+tax and of course you then have to do the work (yourself, not difficult, or at cost) to remove the arches, fill in left over plug holes etc. - Don't get me wrong, great results either way but I like this approach as it keeps it true to the original CT design whilst paying a little homage to the ST
They also painted my parking sensor and bef. you ask, yes it works perfectly fine - WinWin.
CETTE suspension modules and body colored reflector plugs next!
Finally the Monkey Butt Replacement project still on - I want to have a go myself first and see if I like my effort, and if not will commission them to do one (basically a $20 vs a $400 decision so nothing to lose there!).
BEFORE
AFTER - Major upgrade
Rear with no Xpel - all paint
Front painted with Xpel, body and fender flare:
