Need a Taycan RWD sweet spot config under 100K EUR

Sport chrono very personal. I went without and don't miss it.

Surround view I say is essential in UK/EU.....narrower roads...as is folding mirrors.

Personal choice for ambient lighting and sport sound. I got neither and is right decision for me.

I got air suspension am really glad I did.

Base stereo is supposed to be basic, so Bose is popular option.

150kw charger and bigger battery very popular.

I missed heated steering wheel and should have got it.

Nice choices. Thanks. Since my color will be Crayon/Chalk I will take the black interior... If you wouldn't add the pano roof what would you add? (we don't have this premium package here in Belgium)

I must be missing something here - what is so special about a heated steering wheel? I must admit I never experienced it...

I personally like the sport sound - during my test drive turned it ON and OFF a few times and it does add to the experience for me... I will probably skip the ambient lighting...

I guess I wouldn't miss the sports chrono as well... although it is very "Porsche like" to have it maybe the Taycan can break that "rule"

I would get rid of the sport sound, perhaps it’s fun in the beginning but after that I’m sure you will enjoy the silence more . And than I would add the heat pump.

Thank you…since it was included in the premium I’m not exactly sure how much the pano roof is/was so perhaps the larger battery…or air suspension although the way we drive…I‘m not sure either would be worth the spend.…for us. Good luck

If choosing between adding surround view or the sports chrono and switch which wou you choose

Would you add the ambient lighting package or is this not much added value? Maybe add power steering plus instead?

I would add nothing of your list. Surround view, sports chrono, extra screen, ambient lighting are all rather useless features in my opinion.
The only one to consider is power steering plus. But you can add that later with FOD too.

I do agree about paying extra for the wheels. Porsche succeeded in the typical marketing trick of putting extremely ugly standard wheels to push customers to pay extra for decent looking wheels.

How difficult is it to switch between the different modes via screen if you omit the sport chrono package?

You get a Sport toggle on the climate display where the Cross Turismo gets a Gravel one, so it's almost just as easy. You just don't get sport plus mode and individual.

You really don't want to miss:
- power steering plus, steering is heavy without it
- heat pump
- adaptive cruise control (I'm Belgian too, never again commuting E40/R0 without it)
- storage pack, it makes the space under the central display at the front usable

Don't bother with sport chrono. You could drop the seat belts or surround view from this config, but I think the seatbelts in a contrasting colour give the standard interior that special touch. Ambient lighting is easy to drop but adds a lot for night driving.

There is currently also a business pack in Belgium. It includes heat pump, intelligent range manager, heated seats, power steering plus and parkassist with rear view camera for 1200. I would also add drivers memory package.

Nope…stock steel suspension…we were guided primarily by our budget and nudged in a couple directions by our contact at Porsche for a few items here and there…but keep in mind our driving habits are such that it may only be regrettable at resale….

I almost never use cruise control on my current car... so not sure about that one.
I will tick storage pack...
heat pump is in the Business Pack together with front seat heating and rear camera so that's a valuable pack IMHO.
