There is currently also a business pack in Belgium. It includes heat pump, intelligent range manager, heated seats, power steering plus and parkassist with rear view camera for 1200. I would also add drivers memory package.
Where did you see the “business pack” in the Belgium configurator?

Nope…stock steel suspension…we were guided primarily by our budget and nudged in a couple directions by our contact at Porsche for a few items here and there…but keep in mind our driving habits are such that it may only be regrettable at resale….
I am going to add it...

Keep the replies coming in guys :) I really appreciate the input and the arguments/reasoning behind either selecting or dropping a certain option. I will build my final setup tomorrow and... of course I will post it :)

Excellent…I reviewed this thread prior to freeze point…I felt pretty at ease. Both my Cayman (pretraded a couple months ago) and Macan had steel suspensions so I was good with it…

Search “Drove RWD basic spec - no air suspension or battery+“ in the search forum section…

Heated steering wheel.....

You don't always want your air con on high to preserve battery / maximise range. It uses a lot.

Heated seats and heated steering wheel keeps you toasty using far less electricity than turning the air con up.

I missed it.... It was mentioned on here the day after mine locked and its dead cheap. Its the only thing I would change on my build.

Surround view would be one of my first adds if you live anywhere with narrow roads / parking (Europe!).
Very different if you live in open expanses in much of the USA.

I wasn't going to go air suspension till I came on here. Really glad I added it.
Did you really drive both to compare ?
Most people that have air suspension say that it is a must have. But you can't say if you did not try both.

Most people that have driven both, say the difference is small and it is just fine without it. Note that you always have dynamic suspension, even without the air suspension. So you can still change the stiffness. Just not the height.

I ordered one without the air suspension.

Heat pump only adds a handful of kilometers. Check the range estimator in the configurator.
If you need more range, go for the PB+.

OK guys - I think I am just about ready with the config

http://www.porsche-code.com/PNUCVKE4

Just keep in mind that with the business pack I have the pump, range assist, rear camera and front seat heating

that is why I selected the rear camera option again in this config to reflect the upgrade price to surround view...

This keeps me under 100K and I will try to lock it in with at least a 4% discount.

Let me know what you think... maybe the electronic charging cover is better replaced by something else like ambient lighting?

Let me know!

I see you take the 2+1 seats, but not the glass roof. Note that if you really want to use the back seats (And especially the middle seat) you need the glass roof to add more head room.
If you do not intent to use the back seats by adults, you could skip the glass roof.

About the bose audio: It gives you better audio but note that you loose trunk space. The extra space under the trunk floor will be smaller. Since the trunk is already tight, I did not add the bose audio system for that reason.

Personally: I would remove lane change assist, electric charger cover, air suspension, bose audio and sport sound.
I would also drop the business pack and just add the heated seats: the range manager is know to be less good than abrp (a better route planner). The heated seats are more useful to extend range in cold climates than the heat pump.
And add adaptive cruise control and the glass roof. (that is my config)

No I didn't try both and am sure I would have liked it without.

Reason I am glad I got it, is the number of times I have to use the lift option. Lots of inclines and speed bumps round here and with the car being so low.
I even need lift to get onto my drive.

So would you then recommend heated steering wheel and seats instead of heatpump correct?

Yes the roads in Belgium are full of speed bumps and some of them are not small.

Not sure about Belgium.....?

UK spec is heated front seats as standard (rears are optional).

Heated steering wheel optional.

Heat pump as standard.

US cars seem to have very different base spec to European cars.
