Hi,

Anyone tried charging their Taycan with an Iberdrola 50kw public charger in Spain?

I drove across Spain last week and couldn’t get any of them to charge mine.

2 weeks ago I went to spain, I used two apps, chargemap and electromaps without difficulty. For the latter you have to credit an amount of x euros, on return the unused balance is returned

i used the app electromaps and the RFID card chargemap, i also recharged my taycan for free at porsche centers

Yes. I used the Iberdrola app, and needed to add a Spanish credit card to it (the app wouldn't verify a non-Spanish card).

This was using chargers driving down the east coast between Valencia and Alicante.

IIRC, the charging process was slightly different. I'm used to "Plug in the car, then pay", the Iberdrola process was "Initiate payment, then plug in the car".

I will try that and see if I can get it to charge.

Used the new Porsche/Iberdrola charging station near Elche today and charged fine (all 400kw chargers!).

asked the Iberdrola engowhos was they why I had issues he couldn’t under stand why.

Hopefully using a Spanish CC will do the trick.

I’ve always been charged when using a Porsche Centre. Charger.

Hi, I use Iberdrola BP Pulse by Porsche charging in Spain with my Porsche charging card and myporsche app. The cost is same as Ionity and Porsche Centers. Not all chargers recognize the car, but presenting the app, porsche charhing card and rfid will do the work. There are not many of these Iberdrola BP pulse by Porsche in Spain, maybe 10 over the country. Check Iberdrola website. THe cars PCM navigation will find thelm for you also. One strange thinh is that the chargers at Porsche Centersare not searchable on the PCM. ALso not clear if they are reachable out of the office hours. I heard some provide you with a gate code if you contact them ahead. Anyone has information about this?
