Definitive Cross Turismo Delay/Stop-Order/Held in Port Thread

Since there are several thread covering this, I thought I'd try and bring it all into one so that people can see the latest updates.

I know at least one person ( @TaycanCook ) has said their CT was released. But several others have reported their CT's are held (Possibly: @Hirschaj , @Visceral , @vonsh , @nvp19 @JRNJTAYCAN )

Do you have a CT held at a US port? Do you know why? Has it been released? If so when? Please chime in.

I have a MY Turbo S CT delivered to San Diego in early March, still held, no ETA for release.

CT held at San Diego port, processing since 3/7.
My SA originally said Bose chip was needed. Then I asked about any recalls or open campaigns and he said there were none. We left off last Thursday that he was trying to contact the port manager to find out what the hold was for.
TYD updated to 4/22 delivery to dealer from 3/25.

I don’t actually think the SA know why the cars are being held and that’s why There are so many different reasons being given. Or they know and Don’t want to release the real reason.

Mine was released last Thursday and I took delivery last Friday.

I believe Joe's (JRNJTAYCAN) car is a RWD sedan which is why he already has it.

I have a 4 CT that has been sitting at Benicia since 3/7. TYD used to show a dealer arrival date of 3/25 but recently updated to 4/22. I will reach out to my SA and post back if there's anything worth sharing. Hopefully, TaycanCook's experience will become the norm for the rest of us soon.

Same here. My Mamba Green CT has been at the Port of Benicia since 03/07. Arrival to Porsche Dealer changed from 03/25 to 04/22 as well (updated on 03/25). The only info I'm getting from the SA is Porsche has not told them what the exact hold up is. He was only told the cars will be released in April. Only 51 miles away from the dealer - so close and yet so far.....

My CT4S will reach port Benicia today. TYD changed delivery date from 04/15 to 04/29 a week ago. My old SA is quitting and I got assigned a new SA. The new SA says I could get my car by mid April.

I wasn't aware of these issues until today when I read this thread. Hopefully, ours get released soon.

Looks like @TaycanCook 's TC arrived at port late March, much later than many of the others that have been noted here as held. It is now delivered making it the only TC I've heard of being released - not sure it was ever held.

Seems like all the held TCs are late Feb through mid March.

Have a GTS Sport Turismo at port in San Diego since March 26. Original delivery date was mid-April, then late March, now pushed to April 29.

Wow, this is among the first USA (almost) delivered GTS ST I've heard of. When did you order?

Wasn't a custom order, just a dealer build launch vehicle that was close enough. Looked at dealers in the US and found a few options. Fortunately one in southern CA had one still available.

Joined to let you know I'm right there with you. My cross turismo has also been in Houston since 2/22.

My dealer hasn't been able to provide any information on a cause or ETA...
