Please can someone explain what this is? I mean I understand it’s for data transmission but is it an optional item or is it mandatory for the data to/from the car to operate correctly?

The reason I ask is because I have just hard wired my radar device into a spare switch, whilst doing this with the fuse cover off I noticed a 5A fuse tucked away in the depth of the bulkhead behind the carpet. The question is could this be a fuse that has popped out by accident when removing the fuse holder cover or could it be a dropped fuse during its build?

The only issue I have now since carrying this out is I can’t log into the car with my account only guest user and there is no fuse in the Control unit for wireless data transmis- sion (RHD vehicles)!

Much appreciated if anyone can shed any light. Thanks

So this is in the left (passenger) side fuse box and is Row C (bottom one) in the first position? Right?

Seems empty in mine if I've read the manual correctly.

Update: I had read the manual incorrectly.

I did misread it – sorry for the confusion!

I don't have a picture of the drivers side – but I'll take one in about an hour and share it here.

I did break the car for a while though ? fitted the wiring for the radar device and then tested it before putting covers back on, pressed stop/start ignition button and nothing completely dead!!! ? After a lot of stressing I realised when flicking off the pink fuse holder I half pulled out fuse 1 row B, gateway control unit ????

Thanks Damien I have a few more less than you, Row A and Row C look the same but Row B I have fuses 2, 7 and 9 missing
I have night vision camera and PDCC options which would account for fuse 7 and 9 if you don't have those.

ok well night vision is fuse 7 and PDCC is fuse 9 leaving fuse 2 as the culprit, perfect I will go and pop it back in now. Many thanks for this ?
