Gutted - Taycan in Shop for 3 Months due to Battery Cell Issue

I was pretty aggressive, and it was just as the Taycan was rolling out in the US, so Porsche NA wanted to make sure that negative customer feedback was kept to a minimum.

let's just say it had the numbers 1 and 5 in it and there were more than two zero's after those numbers. Not saying that you will see that yourself, but Porsche took very good care of me two years ago when I had issues my my early VIN Taycan.

Well, battery has arrived now after a long 6 months… supposed to be ready on Tuesday if all checks out.. see what happens..

My car has been dead since 4/21 and today they tell me that a cell will ship from Germany in mid-July and should arrive 1-2 weeks later.
The part number is 9J1-915-100-SX

Lemon law in my state, Massachusetts, ends after a year or 15k miles so I will look into alternative options.

This is concerning, having a 2020 model that had a full battery replacement that took 2 months, was told the new model with individual cells would ensure faster resolution of similar issues which obviously isn't the case.

What I don't understand is why these issues aren't prioritized.

I know it's not that simple, but i think i'd be asking for them to take the battery parts out of their demonstrator and stick them in mine!

How long does Tesla or Toyota take to swap out a faulty battery?

Because of when the issue began, you likely still have a case. Talk to a lemon law lawyer, in most states the manufacturer needs to foot the bill for the lawyer and the lawyer takes the case on contingency
