It wouldn’t let me get any other license plate when trying to order a vanity plate. I could care less about driving in the hov lane. Would rather have a license plate that matches color of my car lol. How do we go about getting a different plate?
Once your first metal plate arrives, you should be able to visit one of those non-ADOT motor vehicle service offices located throughout the Phoenix area. Bring your title, registration, bill of sale, insurance, and a picture of the vanity plate style you want. Once you secure and pay for the lettering, the office will print a temporary paper plate. Drive home and put it on your Taycan, and the metal plate will arrive in about a month. I hope this helps ...
You should be able to do all this online. Once you are registered at the site below, your plate will show up in your account before you actually receive it. As soon as your car is linked to your account, you can change the plate online and they will send you the updated style you want. https://azmvdnow.gov/home
I didn't realize you could do all that online - thanks! I'm sticking with the cloud plate, though, for HOV access for my frequent morning drives from Goodyear to Sky Harbor. Gig 'em '84 '86 ?
Same. Even though I’d prefer a black plate to match the car, I sometimes use the HOV lane and don’t want to have to explain to officer why I’m in the lane without a cloud plate.
