uPdate issues: Navigation stuck “Calculating Charging Plan…”

Just got my car back from the latest uPdate (coloured icons etc.) but now I can’t see estimated battery percentage at destination when using navigation.

The Navigation display simply shows “Calculating charging plan…” and a spinning wheel for the duration of the trip, never actually completing the calculation.

Has anyone else experienced this with the new update?

Does it happen with all routes?

Disable Charging Planner, plot a route, enable charging planner and plot a route to see what happens.

Yes it happens on all routes. I tried the steps above and I still can't get a percentage charge at destination or any kind of charging plan.

Potentially this part of the update didn't install correctly (total guess now) or your Porsche Connect service for Charging Services hasn't been activated - unlikely but worth checking (My Porsche Website).

During the test drive, a navigation destination that is further away than the available remaining range of the vehicle must be entered at least 4 times until charge planning is fully charged. Updating the central computer (PCM) takes a set time for charging planning. Only relevant for vehicles with the Porsche Charging Planner function

no solution as of yet, I am going to get it looked at during my service next month.

If you do the two finger press in the top right to reboot the PCM I find that usually temporarily resolves it

I was worried you were gonna say that.
How temporarily is it getting resolved?
Will disabling the Porsche Charging for now help?

I think the solution is listed above -- I've seen in several places where you have to enter the nav destination 4 times to get it to work.

Unfortunately that is not a solution if it has to be done every time a destination is entered. A workaround at best.
It was never an issue before (though the pcm had other issues) prior to he upgrade.

For me it’s pretty random, I don’t get the error as much any more but after writing my reply to you it happened again that night. It’s a pain but I usually pull over, reboot and then it works for the remainder of the journey and usually quite a few more.

I have the same problem after the update. Never had it in the two years before the update. I reported the problem to Porsche via shaking phone while in „My Porsche“ App.

Happened to me on a drive back to Canada from Florida. Had to rely on knowing range to the next Electrify America Charger. Spinning Wheel of Death, did reset overnight. Perhaps I am to blame as I was inputting other stops prior to my end destination for the day
