I've had my 4SCT just over a week and love it but Porsche have now gone and thrown a real spanner in the works by offering me a February 23 build slot for a GTS Sport Turismo. Anybody got an opinion on whether to stick or twist?

You need to ask:
What you ideal spec is for each car and how you plan to use it.

If the GTS has some standard fit items that are optional on the 4S CT then the additional cost might not be so great, and might be further offset by (historically) better residuals.

On the other hand, the GTS is more expensive and you may be paying for items you would not really choose.

It’s of course a personal decision, the 4S is pound for pound the best of the Taycan range when it comes to things like 0-60 times against base price of the car.

The spanner in the works is you currently have a CT as opposed to a ST. The ST is closer to the saloon in driving dynamics and of course does not have the body cladding round the wheels.

If you had the 4S ST I would say stick (as I’m not a fan of the body cladding), but now I would say twist…but with the understanding that apart from looks your not getting that much more for an approx 25K dent in the pocket!

Haven’t driven the GTS, but the 4S is so good that I’d think twice before going through with the order-wait process again (with the attendant uncertainty of whether the car will have a 12V battery, Bose/Burmester or whatever the key missing component in the future will be)
