Ok so my Taycan Turbo has arrived in Sheerness (UK) today and will apparently be in the showroom tomorrow (Great news). My app stage is still on 3 so I'm a little baffled as to why that hasn't been updated but either way it's good news. I have made the decision to not collect until the doors open at the showroom on March 1st due to new 23 number plate registrations - this will be the hardest wait 'ever' but it has to be done

That will cost the dealer a few hundred in just interest while the car sits in their showroom. There go you free floor mats

I’m not in the same situation but definitely agree with you waiting till March the 1st - mine’s due at the dealer in 3 weeks.

Interesting that your app is showing stage 3 still… ?

Waited 10 months for the car - what difference will two weeks or so make? If I don't wait 2 weeks my car is effectively from the previous year so will affect its value long term.

The wait is 3 weeks - but I did that before when I bought my Macan so I got the new plate. It is a bit annoying but I would do the same

sure am! It’s a painful wait isn’t it. I’ve watched every YouTube review, walk-through, drag race and more. I’m driving the family nuts…… it’s like being a kid waiting for Christmas Day!

Certainly is a painful wait but after 10 months these 3 weeks should fly by (or they will be the longest 3 weeks ever haha).

Thankfully I've escaped the crazy number plate change thing. In France we have nothing to indicate year which I think is the same in most European countries.

Would be much better if the UK adopted this!

We don’t have that plate system in OZ, so not sure what the year reference on the rego plate makes to the MY of the car.
