UK order status and delays?

Not sure if you've already seen my post but my car was delivered to the dealership in February and failed PDI, stop sale applied due to half the heater matrix not working, heater was then fixed and handed over 3 weeks later - 1/3/23.

It could be all cars shipped in the same period are now on stop sale and to keep at port of entry until spare parts and space in the workshops becomes available to address all of this.

My dealer tells me that the deliveries have not stopped. All builds schedules to land in March/April are now showing a 2-3 week delay on average.

My dealer told me Saturday that production line stopped my car was due in dealers 17-03-2023 now told June.

Mine was due 10/3 - now 31/3. Updated late last week.

Just spoke to my dealer and he said production has not stopped, and that my car still only has a delay of 2 weeks. Was due 17/3, now due 31/3

I ordered a RWD last Autumn 2022 which arrived at port (Emden) about 3 weeks ago and has been stuck there since. I was due to collect it 1st March from the dealership (Porsche York) and am currently awaiting an update. Has anyone else been told the vehicle is 'stuck at port' and if so so why and for how long?! Thanks for any feedback.

I'm pretty much the same boat, mine has been at Emden for 2 weeks now.

I'm also awaiting an update, it's so hard to get any information out of my SA, they only send updates after I explicitly ask, NEVER when there's a status change.

And I feel like a lemon asking every couple of days if anything is moving forward....

Spoke to my dealer yesterday and they said my car was missing the heater and all parts had been used up retrofitting Taycans already in the UK. He said the delay would be weeks and more likely months - could be summer before it’s delivered! Sodding fantastic!!

That is an unmitigated disaster, I'm so sorry for you.

I'll call me SA this morning and see if I can get an update, but I can't imagine it will be any different given mine was being built about a week after yours...

I just called the Porsche Centre - apparently my car was one of the few that didn't get stopped at Emden and is currently on route to the UK.

It's still on target for me to collect in the next week or so....

My SA tells me that my turbo s has no delays, will finish production next week and is set to be delivered by the 17th of April. No issue with the heaters or anything else.

Wondering if porsche is just desperate to sell me the car before I come to my senses and find a more constructive way to spend my mid life crisis.

I have a GTS saloon on order. Emailed the dealership yesterday and was told that the vehicle is in pre-production, and should complete on 10th March. they are still estimating an early April delivery.

I hope I'm wrong but until PDI performed by your dealership your dealer will not know for certain (as in my case).
