I have to admit, every time I see the title of this thread I keep thinking it’s another person with a dead heater, waiting for a repair.

I am not going to drive Tacan 4S for three weeks. Any particular advise wrt the charging? Should I charge to 100% and then disconnect it? Any other advise?
I returned to mine last week after 8 weeks away. The car was not plugged in but was charged to 75% - I jumped in and it still had 75% charge and drove like it hadn't been left alone...I think the days of worrying about 12v battery drain etc might be over...

What was your consumption fir the first few miles? I noticed my Taycan never shows the SoC percentage going down while parked for a while, but the estimated range does. Then the first few miles have higher than usual consumption. My wife's etron on the other hand does show percentage and range go down when parked a long time.

To be perfectly honest I am never too bothered about the consumption anymore but it’s usually 2.2-2.5miles per KWh on 21inch wheels.

Not sure if anyone is interested anymore but I came back after 18 days and car battery was still holding charge at 50% (I did not connect the charging cable to car) and car started/functioned like normal.

Now see how much your car uses in the first mile. I find the Taycan hides its battery drain while parked.

Oh...I should have noticed it earlier when I drove first time after I came back. I didn't make a note of it.

Your app will still show a trip usage for that day. Personally I noticed that if I leave my Taycan parked, the SoC does not go down, but the lost energy is averaged into the first trip, often first miles. My wife's eTron on the other hand is more forthcoming, and simply slows a slowly dropping SoC when parked.

Just checked the history -- yes, you are right. it is only showing 1.5 Mi/kwh for the 6 miles I drove on the day of return against the usual 2.9/3.0 that I get :)
