Concerns About Mileage? 2021 Taycan 4S with 45000 miles (70000 km)... Looking for Advice

so in this situation, would the warranty cover the battery if it’s fine and at >70% capacity, and then you incur some sort of battery failure that requires a replacement?

Yes exactly, my understanding is that it'd be covered in the case of a battery failure while >70% OR a working battery which has fallen below 70% capacity relative to a baseline/new battery.

Post here both specs so we can see exactly the differences.
I won't buy a low spec car or color I don't like even if it comes with new battery.

The lower spec car has:

• Premium package
• Performance package
• Performance battery plus
• Passenger Display
• Storage package
• Surround Camera View
• Partial leather

Unfortunately it is missing the rear seat configuration which may be a dealbreaker for me, along with a few other things like adaptive cruise control and HUD which aren't necessary but would've been nicer to have! I also wonder about the differences in the battery on the 2021 vs 2020, as I've heard there were some improvements with the 2021. The only real upside to this one is the much lower mileage.

weird. So I finally went for a test drive (which has instantly ruined all other cars for me!). But when I asked about the battery warranty, the sales guy told me it’s 8yr 160,000km….and no way to add to that.

Did you end up making a purchase? And isn’t in fact an unlimited mileage warranty on the battery?
