Taycan CT 4 Volcano Grey gets wrapped in matte anti-gravel film + spacers

Hello, everyone. I'm going to write my story of an easy redesign of my Taycan Cross Turismo 4.
My car is a 2023 model year in the standard Volcano Gray colour.
At first I liked this colour, but then I noticed that the metallic colour hides the body lines, the black roof and other black inserts.
And I decided to make changes to the appearance of my car)

The photo shows the car in its original colour. This is the day I came to the car dealership to pick up the car)

In different lighting conditions, the Volcano Gray colour looks more like black)

From the very beginning, I wanted to radically change the colour and make it bright - red).
I went to the local detailing centre and looked at the colours of the armour film.

Red seemed too bright for me and this is a fundamental colour change with the subsequent re-registration of the car, so I decided to choose an interesting grey gloss! There were 3 options.

- Light grey
- Medium grey
- The greyest grey

From different angles and under different lighting, it looked very, very ambiguous)

I chose the dark grey colour that was available.
On the appointed date, I arrived at the detailing centre to put the car to work!

But at the last minute, the owner of the detailing studio suggested that I try a transparent, matte armour film.

This option seemed very interesting to me. besides, there are such advantages:

- The original colour of the car does not change
- Protection of the body from damage.
- Emphasis of black glossy car parts (mirrors, roof, sills, etc.).

The full work included:

- Covering the car with a transparent, matte anti-gravel film + coating with liquid ceramics.

- Repainting the side mirrors and letters in glossy black.

- Installation of spacers that will visually expand the wheelbase of the car.

And here is a photo report of all the work. Once again, the native Volcano Gray colour is covered with a transparent, matte protective film.

Thank you! The matte effect in combination with black glossy elements is very cool! When Taycan is in standard Volcano Grey, everything merges into one!
