Maybe a daft response but Panamera Hybrid? I know it is not an EV but it is a proper unicorn car with excellent reviews. One of the problems with long service/fix delays with the Taycan is the lack of EV trained Porsche technicians, so not an issue here. Otherwise, 911 GTS Hybrid all.day.long…...
The roads in the SE UK are just terrible now. 4 new tyres at the end of November and now a pinch split from an unavoidable pothole late Sunday afternoon… bollocks.. the new driving tax..
Had mine replaced a few months ago, 23 GTS ST. Could not tell you the fault codes but sitting in a car at ambient temperature of 2 degrees C for 2.5 hours on the M25 meant my sole interest was a rapid replacement..! Plenty of related posts on this forum and many from others far more technical...
Mine was replaced last weeek, apparently the servo motors. Just had a written confirmation from Porsche that I can book it in for warranty repair under recall notice
left hand, right hand…
Nav system crashed 5 times in 30 minutes of driving yesterday, had to resort to Google maps in CarPlay. It is frustrating, I prefer the Porsche system but you just cannot rely on it.
while my GTS ST was in the OPC a couple of weeks back for a heater repair (!) they looked at this specifically...
So, had some warranty work completed this week (heater…) and asked the dealer to check the battery SoH while the car was in.
2023 GTS ST, only DC charged less than 10 times and regular home charging to max 85%. Currently 22k miles and SoV rated at 92%, which I reckon is okay…
Mine goes in on Monday, they are assuming servomotor failure and it’s not been an issue right up until today, getting in the car at 5.45am and about 3 degrees C! I’m away all of next week, hence why I booked it in, but if it just steams up in the cold I might have to call Porsche assist…
Mine doing the same thing this week. Satnav to pick my daughter up from a gig venue in SE London, so rather needed the turn by turn guidance. Crashed continuously and then finally gave up altogether, losing the map completely. Had to switch to Waze. Heating seems to have packed up too but...
I have witnessed something similar. Bizarrely, in the congested SE UK the roads are jammed but the deer are numerous, we don’t have the open space or culture for hunting that has prevailed in US or Continental Europe..
If you hit a full grown deer side on with a low slung Taycan then the mass of that beast is going straight through the windscreen… you can buy external fit whistles that are above human hearing range, but highly debatable whether they will actually work…
