Posts about tires for Taycans are all over the map as to preferences and recommendations. It seems the Michelin 4S Pilots have the least bad said about them (based on a casual reading of posts) and are otherwise highly regarded.

Is there any reason not to go with Michelin 4S Pilots ... (California so no need for summer/winter tire changes.)?

You found these to be reviewed as being better than the OEM Pilot Sport 4 NFO? What's wrong with the NFOs? What's important to you? Efficiency, grip, longevity, max speed?

I'm not familiar with the difference although I understand NFO to be very important for high-speed endeavors. My priorities, in order, are: safety, quality of ride, longevity, and grip in that order. If I ever drove over 100 mph here in urban California it would only be for a few seconds. I notice some comment that Porsche might not honor warranty claims if you don't have particular tires on the car. If that's so, I guess that would move to the top of my priority list.

Sorry to be a bit dense. I looked at the Michelin store on Amazon and don't see "NFO" as a rating type ... is this the tire in question (it's the most expensive 245/55-R19 listed)?

So I got the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 103Y tires on the car, NP.

However I do have another question. When I set/reset the tires I noticed that the recommended tire pressure for non-full load R19 summer tires on the tire section of Vehicle Settings was:
Front: 32 psi / Rear: 30 psi.
That's lower than tire pressure recommendation on the car body itself which is:
Front: 33 psi / Rear: 36 psi
Also the end with the higher pressure is reversed (!).

Any idea which should be followed, the car markings or the online recommendations?
