Hi All -
This car is beautiful - TxT CHarlie - 2022 Porsche Taycan 4S - 23,865 Miles - Financing; I haven't got there yet ($15K down, what does that do for you?) - Greenwood Village, CO auto tax 4.25% - what other closing cost should I expect - Out the door total should I expect - Should I ask about, excessive rear wheel, Is BP PB Plus even a question, should be a BP Plus right, is battery life even a question, how about updated heater module, how about battery charger, is shipping negotiable?

Questions asked for far: Warranty -

Yes it does still have warranty for 9 months or 26k miles, whichever comes first. That is the manufacture bumper to bumper warranty that can be taken to any Porsche dealer across the country.

Hello, I have a very similar car. I had trouble parsing all your post, including where the vehicle is located (must not be CO since you mention shipping). Some quick thoughts, feel free to ask follow up:

Regarding heater etc you are really asking if the outstanding recall work has been done. This question can be answered by either querying the NHTSA web site with the VIN (which you have, well we have it too now..), OR by phoning some Porsche dealer and talking your way to the service supervisor, then ask the same question. I'd recommend trying the dealer approach because they have the actual maintenance records. Call a dealer local to you, tell them you're considering buying this car and would have it maintained by them, hence you want them to tell you if it's clear regarding recalls.

Regarding shipping: my experience has been that this is not a negotiable line item because the dealer is just passing on the cost quoted by one of their car hauling subcontractors as a courtesy to you. They don't have any margin to play with. I'd be more concerned that it was being shipped by someone who knows how to take care of an expensive electric vehicle.

You do want the large battery, which brings me to the the next recommendation: all Porsche vehicles have an associated document that the dealers call "the build sheet". This is not public information but it's "almost public" in that anyone owning the vehicle can get it either in the Porsche mobile app or by asking a dealer to print it out. You can also call a dealer and see if they will give you the PDF for this VIN. They might, but they might not. The current owner certainly can. That document tells you chapter and verse what options this vehicle has, including the battery. Do not buy a Porsche without first reviewing this document. One option you might want to look for in particular is the 400V charging option: this can help with charging at Tesla chargers (non-Tesla public chargers are 800V which is the car's default voltage).

I've never had on board charger trouble, but my understanding is that it typically affects the 19KW variant, which is rare in the USA. So again check the build sheet to see what charger option this car has.

Looks like a nice color. From the picture it does not have the glass roof, which is rare. Some people don't like the glass roof due to interior heating from strong sunlight.

Obviously other standard things like check the Carfax. Factory warranty is pretty short at this point so unless you feel particularly lucky you probably want an extended warranty. Ask your local dealer about this first (I think they can give you a quote based on the VIN) rather than waiting until you have the vehicle. There's many threads here about warranties, and I don't ever buy them, so I will stop there regarding advice on that...

I wouldn’t buy a Taycan from a non Porsche dealership, but that’s me.

Certainly an extra risk, but if a dealer will sell a warranty on the vehicle that puts things back at par with a CPO vehicle. For a remote purchase, the seller being a dealer doesn't do much for you because you'd have to take the car back to that dealer to invoke any sort of responsibility they might have.
