Porsche Destination Chargers and Porsche dealers chargers - pricing

Hello everyone! I'm based in Lisbon, Portugal and I am a new Taycan owner. This is my first electric vehicle, so there is a lot of new things to me
Also, this is my first post here in the forum, so please excuse me if I'm now aware of any specific expected protocol.

I have a question for you: when you charge at Porsche Destination Chargers are these supposed to be free to Porsche EV owners? I noticed there are a few hotels not too far from me that have them. Would they be available just for the hotel guests? I've seen also a restaurante that supposedly have one too.

Apart from Porsche Destination Chargers, what about the charges at Porsche dealers? I've seen mixed information, some people saying you can charge for free, others saying it is paid for.

Maybe this is country dependend... I'm particularly interested in Portugal, but if you can give me information in your country, that would be nice to know.

At hotels, you would need to be a guest of the hotel, and it will be billed to the room

Thank you for letting me know… I was expecting it could be a complementary service to hotel/restaurant guests to attract them to those properties.

I will have to check in a near future at a not too far restaurant here just outside Lisbon and will report back my experience.

Do you have the Porsche Charging Service Plus? Depending on when you bought your car it would have been included for a few years or you can subscribe. The Destination Chargers should be at AC rate, 19c/kWh in Portugal. Under that scheme, DC charging at Porsche Centres is at a low rate, same as Ionity - 39c/kWh in Portugal. Tesla used to have a Destination Charger network in Europe that was free to all owners, but that has decayed now in the face of higher power costs, and most hotels have switched it out for something that generates revenue for them.

Thank you so much! I do have the Porsche Charging Service but I'm not sure it is Porsche Charging Service PLUS. Do they have two (or more) levels?

It seems this is always a paid charge anyway. Fair enough

Last time I used PDC as a hotel guest it was free and unlimited.
You are expected to be a guest/customer though and driving a Porsche!
