Confused as to whether this is a scheduled service type of alert, or the car detecting my TPMS batteries running low. I’ve disabled all alerts in the menu where you set alert preferences but this thing pops up every day.

Did you try resetting the TPMs? There is small battery inside in each sensor. I am not sure if those are serviceable, I have never had this issue in all my cars.

AFAIK those batteries are not serviceable, you have to replace the entire sensor. Aftermarket sensors are cheaper than Porsche OEM (well, they are probably just re-branded 3rd party anyways). The above warning simply means the battery voltage is low and you'll need new sensors soon.

Dang. If this is the case then I got fd by DiscountTire. I purchased after market new sensors recommended for the car last July, and Discount Tire supposedly used them when they fitted new tires on new Mission Es I got for the car. One thing that was fishy in the whole thing is the sensor caps were silver to match the silver wheels, and when the install was done I noticed they were black caps. I did mention that, but was so over the moon with how the car looked with new wheels that didn’t really press on it.

My Discount Tire location has a tool that can measure battery status. You might ask them to check out your TPMS sensors. Good luck.

Is it recommended to have the TPMS sensor batteries replaced when you get a new set of tires at Porsche? How long do the batteries last? My tires usually last 3-4 years since I don’t drive many miles. I will likely replace my tires after 3 years and I’m at 2.3 years at this point on a vehicle delivered on Jan 2022. The TPMS sensors (if they are the original ones) are still going strong after 6+ years.

Most TPMS are supposed be to last 7 years assuming typical driving. If it’s only been a year, to back to DT and have then checked out (they have a tool), they are probably still under warranty.
