That track your dream is cool. We don't get that in Canada. Apparently it's too much work for them even though 90% is the same as the US. We get 4 stages; not built, still not built, built, in your driveway.

Westrandstrabe is in Kornwestheim at the rail loading terminal north of Zuffenhausen and the port view is right at the loading dock for Porsche cars. It seams really accurate.

My car was in production for 4 days.

interesting

That’s interesting, thanks. My car entered into production the day after yours and my estimated delivery date used to be 09/03 but it slipped to 09/10 a few weeks ago. My current “distance to dealer” is 3890. I see yours is 3945 so I’m assuming we’re fairly close to one another.
Mine did the same thing to 9/10 and then last week it came back to 9/3. I’m in northern NJ but ordered the car from Edison Nj. The only dealership that had an earlier allocation

How long was your car “In Production”? Mine reached that milestone a few days earlier than estimated yet it’s over a week later and I still don’t see my TYD showing completed.
It started 7/7. Mine was a Dealer allocation build that they let me take over. They had to call and update my choices as it was so close to being ready for production.

Ordered my Taycan RWD first week of May. Order locked this week. Production is scheduled for week 29. Car expected to be delivered in August (yep, that’s a range of 31 days ?) in NL.
Got confirmation today that my Taycan is on its way to NL. ? Right on schedule. Will be picking it up somewhere next week!

Ordered TCC on May 3rd, ETA at dealership on August 6th.
Very happy, delivery date earlier than expected. I can track it on the freighter coming to the US. Was lucky that the dealer had 'open' allocations, when ordered I had 3 days to make changes / final specs, then it was locked in. Very happy so far with the process / James G. as Champion Porsche in Ft Lauderdale is my sales guy. Thumbs up.

Bishu Highway, see vessel info below:

Marine Traffic Bishu Highway

I think they first went to Baltimore and already left, perhaps some CTT's for the NE territory?
Mine was on the Bishu Highway with yours - now sitting in Baltimore waiting for a truck. PDACPA's Siem Aristotle is still sitting at Emden - this is getting to be a bit of a mystery.

I was just going to say, @DGT has to be excited as its on US soil! Did TYD update to show it at the port?

I do not know what is us with the Siem Aristotle. Maybe the ship had a mechanical issue. Any way to know?

Posted on the other thread, but just for reference of timing for those on this thread:

Here were my dates for reference:

Order Created: 6/28/2021 (this would be the date my dealer modified their allocation build as I put the deposit down 6/25/2021).
Change Freeze Point: 6/16/2021
Scheduled for Production: 6/30/2021
Start Production: 7/7/2021
Production Completed-CP8.0: 7/13/2021
Ready for Transport: 7/13/2021
In Transit to Emden Port: 7/14/2021
Arrival Emden Port: 7/15/2021
On Vessel: 7/21/2021 (Siem Aristotle)

All of these dates were dead on.

Vessel Entering Port Channel: Scheduled for 8/7/2021

TYD still shows it's "on vessel" but the Bishu Hwy has already left Baltimore. TYD is relatively useless during this part of the process so I don't pay any attention to it. I had a 911 Targa delivered last November, and TYD still had it at the port while I was looking at the car at the dealership. I spoke to my sales manager this morning and per the PSVM system the Taycan has already been through port processing/PDI. He also gets a readout after PDI and sees nothing on that about open warranty items - meaning, no missing parts (like steering column adjustment). So far so good, but another logistics issue these days is there's a shortage of truck transport drivers, so it's taking longer than usual for that.

I am not aware of any way to know if there's a mechanical issue. I was curious about that this morning so looked at the "port view" on Marine Traffic. The Siem Aristotle is moored at the vehicle loading dock - so at least it's not off somewhere else special where they do maintenance.

I think, what time is it in Germany, maybe they are having an early departure, or late one, and open the Marine app and its just sitting there moored. Glad to hear it would be someplace else if getting repairs.

Good to hear on no missing parts. I am hoping my steering column is not the manual one. I can live with 1 key if that is missing.

I don't know if they take it somewhere else for repairs if needed - just assume they'd want to free up the loading zone if they could.
