Original date was mid-july :( And yeah my dealer thought it was tire pressure module...
Well then, while I'm sure there's a reason for the difference in our estimated delivery dates, I guess we just don't have enough information to speculate about what that reason is.

My TYD updated from delivery to dealer 8/20/2021 to 9/24/2021 over night. The car arrived in port on 8/14/2021 and is in Jacksonville and it is a 3 hour drive to St. Petersburg. I just texted a picture of the TYD to my salesman. Over a month for it sitting in the port???

Personally, I think Porsche needs to be upfront and tell our dealers what is going on with the cars (missing TPSM or the sun sensor) so they can advise us. Especially if getting a loan as the rates are usually only good for 30 days.

How did you get that screen shot with the open campaigns? Dealer only?

Just noticed, they will let it go with a missing key and the telephone retrofit, but the TPSM is not allowed to let the car be sold. Do we have to have TPSM? I have a hand held tire pressure gauge that works great for my 911.:)

I absolutely agree but I'm thinking this simply won't happen. To date, none of this has been completely transparent.

Dealer sent to me.
I just texted mine to send me the report on mine. He had responded while I was reading here that they received word the TPSM were the delay and he expected the car sooner.

More dealers should do EXACTLY this and be proactive with these inherent delays. It'll temper the rampant speculation....

I agree. Mine responds if I text, but no pro-active notifications or information.

Nobody's going to sue Porsche for not including two sets of keys or the phone charger. Somebody who blows a tire at high speeds might blame it on the lack of a functioning TPMS and sue Porsche. Even if an individual wouldn't do that, an insurance company involved in that claim might.

Probably correct and I just looked it up and seems they are a required component in the EU and US so that is probably why they need to hold the cars.

Porsche Taycan Track Your Dream is more like Make Me Scream Taycanstatus

Looks like mine has the manual steering column, one key, missing the TPSM (the only item preventing the sale) and whatever the "retrofit telephone console" item is. Anyone know what that is?

My car is officially on the Mediterranean Highway. Will talk to my dealer this weekend and try to figure out if there's any open campaigns.

My dealer tells me I have no open campaigns right now. We'll see when I get there in a half hour or so... ?
