Charge ports on front a la chinese or at the back a la Boxster is an insurance nightmare. Any little bump and the car is totalled as all the charging gubbins is there also. Major issue for BYD in UK. A number have been totalled with little obvious damage to the skin...

Thanks for the reply. I want, primarily, to be able to plug in at any time, on any day and have the car charge to 85% between 11.30 and 5.30 during my 'off peak' window. Potentially not just when 'at home'.

I believe that it does invalidate the Porsche, insurance based, extended warranty.

22 or 11 - either - it is toast. Think yourself lucky it has not blown the EVSE trip. OBC is for AC only. It does not affect DC charging.. No dash warnings. There will be lots of codes though. Book it in Dano!
