Interesting thread, recommended reading for those concerned! With the deal you got, I would have done exactly the same (90% refund of actual purchase price after almost two years of ownership) — but then immediately ordered a new Taycan GTS again :-).
Thanks for your input. From what I have read about HVB charging, there is still a small gain to be made (in terms of prolonged battery life) by charging slower rather than faster, even though modern battery management technology has evolved to the point where the difference is no longer as big...
My OBC broke a while ago as well, and I was told by my dealer that Porsche no longer offers the 22kW chargers, as there are too many issues with the only model available, so they downgrade to the 11kW charger instead, and then refunds the original cost (in my case I received SEK 17,400 (appr...
I replaced my 2021 Cayman GTS 4.0 PDK with a 2023 Taycan GTS Sport Turismo and don’t regret it one bit. As I’m writing this, I’m actually at the track with it and am having great fun! :-)
I'd go for this solution as well — I have already made a switch once for a service visit, and since I don't do it myself (I visit a local shop for help), it takes both time and costs money every time I need to leave the car at the PC for service/upgrades/repair.
This happened to me too a while back — I suddenly discovered that my Charge Amps Dawn wall box "crashed" (blew the fuse) whenever I connected the HVB charging cable. I tried DC charging at my local Tesla station, and that worked just fine, but AC charging didn't work at my local Porsche Center...
My 11kW OBC died a while back, but it took me a couple of days to notice as I don't drive the car daily. I discovered that my Charge Amps Dawn charger box had shut down, and it turns out the circuit just cuts every time I plug the charge cable into the car...
I tried the 270kW OBC at a Tesla...
I think Porsche needs to rework their model lineup nomenclature, personally preferably as follows:
1) PPE ("EM" = Electric Motor; "Motor" as the ICE designation uses "Engine")
– Macan EM (5-d only)
– Cayenne EM (5-d only)
– Taycan EM (Coupé*, Sedan and Turismo)
*I think the Taycan should also...
I did -- I forgot about this thread though :-) and posted a picture in this other thread:

I'm in Sweden and I got the message yesterday. I tried do install but failed—my HV battery was initially at 83% and the installation process froze, and then automatically rebooted; when I got the message next time, my battery was then at 80% and the install button was grey... I've now charged to...
...and here are my new winter wheels as well: Porsche Tequipment 20", also custom repainted in Satin Platinum (Porsche color code OB5) with Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV tyres (I think the indoor lighting makes them look a bit brighter than they do outside):
I bought my 2023 GTS ST used when it was 1,5 years old and at 22K km (~14K miles), and the SoH when tested then was at 95%. I've now had it for another 1,5 years (i.e. car's age currently 3 years), and it's at 29K km (~18K miles). I haven't run any new SoH test since then, but I will try to soon...
I might be interested—I've just bought a used set of Tequipment 20" winter wheels and had them repainted in Satin Platinum, but the tyre shop told me that the sensors had rusted stuck and had to be broken off; fortunately though, they have a used set lying around somewhere that I could get for...
