In case anyone's still desperate for this... There is a seller on eBay selling a retrofit supplied and fitted in Bristol UK for £1950. It's marketed as an OEM system with full integration, and photos of the dash showing the usual graphics for this.
5 hours fitting time.
Agreed it's all subjective and dependent where you draw the line.
An 8/10 spec for me was listing in the UK for about £58k start of this year, £55k in May, and I missed out on a £49k 10/10 spec 2 weeks back. For me, sub £50k is the sweet spot, and there definitely are these 'bargains' out...
My personal expectation is that used prices particularly J1's will face some additional pressure over the next few months as all the ARB6 affected vehicles get released back to the market following the software remedy. A number of these were probably held back pending this release (at least at...
I've now cancelled as the discussion didn't progress further. The more I looked at it, the more it no longer made sense for me personally. Plus the lingering thought it was accident related damage.
Other opportunities will arise in future I'm sure, until then, I'll be in a strong buying...
Welcome everyone's wisdom here, hopefully I can share some interesting insights in return...
I remotely purchased a 2020 Taycan Turbo in a beautiful Gentian Blue with immaculate paintwork, 41k miles. Pan roof, 5 seats, 4 way climate, passenger display, surround cameras, Bose audio. List price...
Interestingly, the J1.1 Taycans still listed for sale don't show up recalls on the Porsche GB VIN checker.
Maybe it is just a small specific number of vehicles and not all J1.1s?
Sorry missed one other detail... You can only put on the extended (non battery warranty) 90 days after purchase. By then you've potentially lost your right to reject under CRA. So a little risk there too
Seems like since the app alerts kicked off on 24 May. I literally bought mine the day prior from my OPC with no recall concerns mentioned or listed at the time.
@BigBob yes sorry typo, corrected it immediately after but you were too quick!
Porsche GB seem to avoid or be super slow responding...
Porsche GB have confirmed that this specific recall can't be resolved by 60 day module checks. It needs the software update (which doesn't have an ETA!), else cars won't be released by dealers on safety grounds.
If anyone had the amber warning for ARB6 in the app yet was allowed to drive off...
