I'll patiently let them suceed or fail, and move on from there accordingly.

I only created this post so that the next "new" taycan owner can easily see that the "lid doesn't fully stay open" until 2026 and is their design and not a repair item. It took me 20-30 minutes to search "lid" on this forum and still had to infer that the 1/2 close flopping was normal.
