I think you would be the first. I love sport plus also, but keep all the settings except the ride height which I set to lower. That is the height the car defaults to at highway speeds. So low is just for show or pics.
Oh I was under the assumption you were lowered with links??

I love this response tbh. Have at it, you only live once.
1000%

LOL that was really how I felt because I know (from the my og post here) and what some have stated afterwards; the car just doesnt make any practical sense. It really doesnt but it sure is fun. Much like Pimpin-

Yeah I am on links, but by default on sports plus it sets to low, what I meant is you can over ride that and use lowered with the links, which will equal low if you set the links conservatively.

Ahhh I see said the blind man.

So your drive mode is Sport Plus but your suspension is set to the 2nd lowest set up? Learning over here!!!

If thats the case is the PAR still optimal for aggressive driving or are the dampers adjusted since the "lowest" setting is not being used while driving?

Yes that is correct, sports plus with lowered. The lowered height should give you similar stiffness to low in sports plus on oem links. As a side effect if you do run it in sports plus on low with the links, handling will be even more stiff.

Ok now Im gonna lower it LOL...

I am so used to just getting in and spinning both knobs to sport plus and thats it... but now Ill have to do both but go into the pcm and adjust the height only to "lowered"... (if I use the links)

PAR is optimized for aggressive driving in Sport plus mode. PAR is always on, by the extra lean/pitch/dive in Normal Mode disengages after 93mph, but in Sport and Sport Plus PAR itself does not disengage. It's part of the driving dynamics

@Vision can you share how my car car felt in Sport Plus compared to your lowered Turbo S in Sport Plus?

I think there is a way for the car to remember settings, I know when I got mine it would always default to normal for the ride, but now as soon as it boots up it goes into sport.

So if my car is on low in sports plus it is noticeably stiffer/harsher on the ride than the gt. On lowered with sports plus I would say it was still maybe 10-20% stiffer. I think it comes from the lowered ride height as there is simply less wheel travel. In comparison to the GT I have mine set to about the same height as low on regular. So my lowered is maybe 15-20mm lower and then low would put me down maybe 30mm, but no rubbing on turning. Keep in mind I am also on 22's, so that would make the ride in itself more stiff.

Are there any steering adjustments based on these modes (suspension ones)...?

Sport Plus is supposed to be sharper steering. Have you tried Sport mode in the canyons to compare to Sport Plus? I feel more weight in Sport mode

I don't think you ever drove it in Normal, but its incredibly smooth and luxurious due to PAR.
It feels like any other Taycan.

You are correct, I literally have only driven it in the most aggressive modes- creature of habit on how I drove this one daily. I mode and thats that.

I asked one my forum friends who took the GT (non WP) out on COTA about his thoughts:

It's silent death to GT3s over a handful of laps.

Eerily silent compared to most of the GT3/3RS/4RS/Z06/cup cars/etc that I am used to out there which is a strange yet interesting sensation since you can really hear the tires at the limit due to no loud engine noise.

Brakes were fantastic (only change was Castrol SRF fluid), attack mode is hilariously fun, and you can murder over the curbs with no issues. The owner was even jumping the orange turtles but I didn't do it since it's not my car.

It's heavy, so the tires did fall off after a few laps and it did understeer at the limit, but overall an amazing feat of engineering from Porsche. I was laughing out loud at the sheer insanity of the thing while on track.

So after 3 great days in the Turbo GT on some nice twisties and straights, I took the RS6 out today. I almost died LOL.

Same weight or close
Same length or close
no where near the same power
no where near the sound (LOL)
no where near the steering
no where near the handling
better interior though

The RS6 really does a good job hiding its weight and Ive added thicker sway to reduce yaw and roll further but its just not remotely like PAR and what one can achieve on the same roads. Mad respect to Porsche for making this car so great and so in tune with what they have always been about; driving dynamics and amazing chassis builds. Steering, braking, and the confidence in comparo gives great perspective. The RS6 (mine is tuned with APR) is no slouch for a fatty wagon but I can only imagine if PAR was on this car. The RS6 is a nice slower sounding car :)

It does look good though and it has keyless entry and exit --- DEAD!!:
